I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in couples, individual, and family therapy. As a private practitioner in Camarillo, CA, I work with a broad spectrum of clients. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to: Marital and Pre-marital Couples Counseling; Highly-Conflicted Couples Intensive Counseling; Anger Management (court-ordered and self-referred); Stress Management; Therapy for Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and Grief/Bereavement; Individual, Couple, and Family Systems Therapy; Parenting Support (court-ordered and self-referred); and Divorce, Company/Corporate, and Family Mediation.
From an interactive, forward-moving, solution-focused perspective, I provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges while integrating complementary modalities and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual's needs. Having empathy, compassion, and understanding as a foundation of the client-therapist relationship, we work together to build on strengths toward achieving the personal growth the client is committed to accomplishing.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist in Ventura County, I have presented at marriage conferences and to general audiences speaking on topics pertaining to relationship skill building (e.g. - boundaries, communication, conflict resolution, strengths/growth areas, family mapping) and basic life issues (e.g. - stress, anger, loneliness, grieving/loss). Additionally, I am an active training facilitator for the international Prepare-Enrich marriage counseling mentoring program.
When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking in the natural beauty of the SoCal coastline, volunteering at an after-school program for teens, watching movies, attending concerts, and creating memories along the way. My passion for life and people is multi-generational, passed down from my grandfather. This career path allows me to breathe life into people in ways that offer hope, encouragement, and a desire to live life to its fullest.
